Stalking Mouflon in Seville
The mouflon is one of the most unique and coveted trophies in big-game hunting in Spain. At Finca Reina Marín, we hunt them by stalking deep in the Morón de la Frontera mountain range, on land where these elusive sheep live in the wild and in their natural habitat.

The Mouflon in the Morón de la Frontera Mountains
The mouflon stalking season in Andalusia runs from September to March. The most popular time—and when the animals are most active—is their mating season, which takes place in November and December: the so-called “ronca.” During this period, the males set aside their usual discretion to defend their territory and females, moving around more and becoming more visible, which makes it easier to approach and stalk them.
The Finca Reina Marín estate, with its pastures of holm oaks, cork oaks, broom thickets, and areas of Mediterranean scrub, offers shelter and an ideal food source for mouflon. This challenging terrain puts the hunter’s skills to the test and makes every stalking expedition a unique experience.
